Office & Warehouse Operative/Deliver Driver
Wales Aggregates are part of Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of aggregates and manufacturer of DALTEX – the UK’s no 1 brand in resin bound. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a new Yard Operative/ Delivery Driver to help support our busy South Wales Daltex Trade Centre depot.
The position will report into the branch manager.
The ideal candidate will be:

- Able to communicate with colleagues and customers in a professional manner
- Willing to work some weekends on an overtime basis
Job Description
- Order taking over the phone and trade counter
- Outbound phone calls to potential new customers
- Picking orders ready for dispatch
- Delivery of orders
- Ensuring correct and safe storage of stock
- Stock rotation
- Ongoing stock counts
- Support other team members as required once yard duties are complete and in order.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping within all yard and storage areas
- Ensuring a safe working area at all times
- Customer facing - professionalism. Skills Required
- Basic excel computer knowledge
- Full clean driving license
- Good communication skills
Full time and permanent position – 30/40 hours per week to suit.
