Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates to open new production and distribution centre in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates, one of the UK's leading aggregate manufacturers has announced exciting plans to open a new Central Hub in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
The site which covers almost 30,000 square meters will include new manufacturing plants, distribution and administration facilities. This will help service the Company's significant growth across many sectors including Resin Bound, Decorative Aggregates and Pebble Dashing; the company is also a major supplier to the highways sector.

The Central Hub location at Airfield Industrial Estate is a huge step forward in our plans for future growth and sustainability for the business.
It is especially pleasing to bring good news to an area that has recently been sadly affected by company closures. Work will commence immediately and plans include delivering a phased production and distribution centre as well as new office accommodation."
Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates provides employment for 64 people. The new Central hub has the scope to create up to 30 new jobs over the next few years.

The new Central Hub will add to Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates' 7 current sites across the UK including its head office and main production facility in Youlgrave, Derbyshire, Ryder Point, DALTEX Trade Centres in Brighouse and Bridgend, as well as a slate plant in Bangor, North Wales. These are supported by two large dock facilities in Mersey Wharf and Goole.
