LATEST UPDATE RE CORONAVIRUS - 21/04/2020

Re-open from Wednesday, April 22nd.
In order to support Government policy, we took the decision several weeks ago to stop the supply of Daltex Resin Bound aggregates and resin – which reflected our concerns regarding social distancing and contractors being able to work on-site safely under those conditions.
Given the breaking news this week that the future economic situation is likely to be challenging/ catastrophic for many small businesses – coupled with the fact that the government continues to allow businesses to operate under safe working practices - we have taken the decision to support contractors who wish to work using safe practices by once again supplying Daltex Resin Bound aggregates and resin from Wednesday, April 22nd.
Please Note: New practices for collections
Brighouse and Bridgend collections – social distancing will be observed in the depot and similar rules to supermarkets will be introduced. Please observe and abide by the rules on display.
For Derbyshire collections -please call in advance to arrange.
Delivery Dates - Services are not normal. The delivery networks are extremely stretched, so there will be no guarantees of delivery dates, there will be no next day or timed deliveries.
We will not be able to offer ETA’s etc.
Orders can be placed online as usual from Wednesday the 22nd of April. Delivery may not be as described. All orders will require pre-payment.
Safe Working
Please be aware we have not taken this decision lightly. It is clearly the Government’s wish to allow those businesses who can continue to operate safely and responsibly to do so. We wish to support our customers in any way we can – and we do not want to put anyone at risk. If you feel you cannot work and follow the social distancing guidelines, please follow the government’s directive and Stay Home as there is a risk of adverse public reaction to those working.
We have put in place measures to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and implore any customer who orders from us to do the same – it is as important as ever to Stay Safe and Protect the NHS. – please refer to the safe working guidelines below.
Please download and read the SAFE working contractor guidelines published by FeRFA from the Construction Leadership Council, by following these it will help you to keep safe and work within government guidelines.
