The Mighty Hooder

Our latest machinery investment is now operational at our Arbor Low works and its impressive. Looking more like a Transformer than a piece of plant machinery, the new automated hooder is playing its part in making sure we ARE employing the best solutions for ensuring we have the best packaging available. 

Placed at the end of our dual automated bagging line, after the robot has palletised the bags, the neatly stacked pallet of bags then is sent to the hooder on rollers, on reaching the hooder, it automatically stretches the tough polyurethene hood down over the bags and then snaps it neatly into place. 

This gives greater rigidity to the whole stack and ensures the bags are completely covered and protected from the elements, making sure your bags od Daltex dried aggregates arrive with you in pristine condition ready to lay.
