The DALTEX Capping Layer consists of 10mm angular limestone gravel and is an essential part of the DALTEX Base4Bound system. Its purpose is to fill in the gaps in the MOT Type 3, creating an even and smooth sub-base, ready for DALTEX Base4Bound to be installed. It also prevents the resin mixture from sinking into voids, therefore reducing material waste and improving stability.
Application Instructions
The Capping Layer should be laid at a 25mm depth and can be spread evenly and compacted with a roller or a wacker plate.
