DALTEX Rejuvenator is a High gloss, non-yellowing UV stable sealer/coating for use on DALTEX resin bound surfaces.
Product Application
DALTEX Rejuvenator is best applied using a high-quality thick pile roller in one or more thin films of 5sqm/litre. Edges can be applied using a brush. For highly trafficked areas where excellent durability is required, we would recommend 3 coats.
If applying on more porous substrates where better penetration is required, then the product can be thinned with xylene.
Recommended substrate temperature is 10-25°C. Temperature of the substrate should exceed dew point by 3C during application and cure. In order to give a smooth glossy finish relative humidity should be 40 – 70%. Humidity below 60% will extend cure schedule.
Second and third coats should be applied once the surface is touch dry but within 24hrs. If this maximum overcoat time is exceeded, then lightly grind the surface to ensure good adhesion.
Storage and Shelf Life
Store out of direct sunlight in a humidity-controlled atmosphere, at 5-30°C. Once opened moisture (including moist air) will initiate cure and material should be used within 2 days. Shelf life is 12 months from date of manufacture.
Safety Information
DALTEX Rejuvenator is a solution of an isocyanate Prepolymer in organic solvents which gives off harmful, flammable fumes (see Material Safety Data Sheet corresponding to this product). Precautions must be taken to ensure good ventilation and against sources of ignition. Always wear gloves and safety glasses.
