Apply by serrated squeegee. A guide to the size of squeegee serrations required is available on request to achieve the required coverage rate

Coverage Rates

The minimum coverage rate for the bonded resin is dependent on the chosen aggregate size:

For example. If using a 1-3mm stone that is broadcast onto a 1.5-2mm bed of resin on a smooth surface, this will give a coverage of approximately 1.5kg per square metre.  We always recommend a contingency of between 5% and 15 % to allow for any surface undulations or differing site conditions.

Sweeping/Vacuuming

All surfaces must be thoroughly swept/vacuumed on completion. Further sweeping/vacuuming will also be required until the initial shedding of aggregate has been exhausted.

Note

The colour and textures of natural aggregates may vary from batch to batch. Small particles of iron may be present in some natural aggregates that could lead to possible rust spotting/staining
